Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 20 years of experience in field sales within product management in the technology industry in Asia

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience selling infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software
  • Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors
  • Experience in success with large, complex commercial and legal discussions working with procurement, legal, and business teams
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customer’s technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations
  • Excellent at leveraging C-level relationships with executives

As a Field Sales Manager, you'll build and manage a team of representatives, working to drive awareness, adoption, and business growth for Google’s public cloud in relation to assigned enterprise accounts. You will participate actively in all aspects of building the business, including attainment of assigned strategic objectives, business planning, demand generation, new account engagement and acquisition, and account-based marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, consult long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Build, mentor, motivate, and guide a team of high performing representatives. Manage the team day-to-day, offering leveraged support for critical business opportunities, as well as career mentorship.
  • Help to develop and execute strategic account plans, including a broader enterprise business plan across key industries, resulting in a robust pipeline.
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud deployment, and articulate key differentiators and typical customer buying journeys. Display a passion for computer science and cloud.
  • Report the state of the business for the assigned territory, including progression against assigned key programming indicators and strategic goals.
