Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of relevant communications experience in Corporate Communications, B2B and/or B2C communications, and in the technology and/or media sectors

Preferred qualifications:

  • PR, public affairs, communications or journalism background
  • Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion
  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced environments, and to escalate appropriately
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex product and policy-related topics clearly

As a member of the Global Communications & Public Affairs team, you will work cross-functionally to help communicate with journalists and other thought leaders; devise specific communications materials and campaigns based on understanding of journalists' interests; engage in face-to-face meetings with commentators and other opinion formers; develop print and web-based material supporting these campaigns; and counter misinformation that might interfere with our business and ability to serve our users. We're looking for great communicators who can understand complex issues and explain them in person and also via well written, simple blog posts, FAQs, video scripts and more.

As a Corporate Communications Manager, you'll develop and support Corporate communication strategies in Korea to help build Google’s corporate narratives as well as to create stories around introducing Google’s wide-ranging product family to the media. You will work alongside cross-functional colleagues from marketing, policy, legal and others, to present proactive and reactive narratives, launches, seasonal moments, and more.

  • Work closely with Business Partnerships/Sales, Public Policy, Trust and Safety, Legal and Product and Engineering teams to distill complex concepts into coherent and easy-to-understand communications material
