Minimum qualifications:

  •  BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with modem LTE/NR power saving features and techniques
  • Development experience and/or adaptability in different LTE/NR modem solutions and diverse working models
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Korean fluently

Preferred qualifications:

  •  Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Solid understanding and development experience on modem-AP interface, emergency call flow and device level technologies and optimization
  • Solid understanding of the LTE/NR power control and saving from HW perspective (DVS) and OS perspective
  • Excellent communication skills

Our Pixel Mobile Wireless team is building the innovative mobile wireless software for the Pixel product family. Our mission is to build a stable, reliable, low-latency and high throughput mobile wireless communication and connectivity system with Google innovative technologies on Google products.

As a Cellular Device Software Architect, you'll work with various cross functional teams and local partners on overall device optimization in terms of cellular performance and power consumption. By understanding the overall call flow from the modem and modem-AP interface and AP side, you will use your domain expertise into team's daily development and instill your technical insight to help bridge the technical gaps between teams in different locations, promote technical collaborations, manage the technical risks, and help make high level technical decisions with technical leads.
