Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience with cloud technology, architectures, and data analytics
  • Experience in a customer-facing role in the enterprise space, translating customer business needs into cloud centric solutions
  • Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, streaming analytics, and business intelligence

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in data engineering, database development, integration, and tooling for data pipelines
  • Knowledge of open source data management and database ecosystem best practices
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts such as feature engineering, model training, inference, and hyper-parameter tuning
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent/ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal
  • Ability to deliver a polished and professional business and technical pitch to the C-Suite and Board levels
  • Excellent presentation skills

You will design, scope, and deliver complex applications and services, and have empathy for the challenges facing modern enterprises related to scale speed and user expectations.

You will work with white-boarding sessions, Google Cloud as a presenter, internal teams on key use cases for a given launch, coach sales teams, develop new solution initiatives, and work with the materials to support them with a broad cross-functional group of stakeholders.

  • Support local sales teams in pursuit of business opportunities, and engage customers to illustrate how Google Cloud can address their requirements.
  • Be an external representative of Smart Analytics in your region for Google Cloud, including press and analyst communities, customers, and partners.
  • Reflect the input of the customers, partners, and field in your region to influence a data-driven vision and direction for technology, solutions, and use case development at Google Cloud.
  • Partner closely with Customer Engineering leaders, Product leaders, and Sales strategy, to ensure solutions alignment with engineering, product priorities, and go-to-market priorities.
  • Work with Customer Engineering leadership to develop and motivate a team of engineers spanning specialists in your areas of focus, and assist in the delivery of published materials aligned to your specific specialist focus area supporting Google Cloud solutions and use cases.
