Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience leading technical and operational initiatives.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Korean fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in people management, defining team objectives, and effectively working with distributed team members to deliver business results.
  • Experience working in digital marketing and/or with business analysis.
  • Experience in coding (e.g. Python, Java, C++, etc.), database (e.g. SQL) and web technology (e.g., HTML, CSS, JS).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Project management skills and attention to details.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-performing team that provides excellent operational support and consultative services at scale to Google’s advertising customers and partners, while ensuring the successful acquisition and retention of talent.
  • Set the strategic direction of the Ads organization. Work with Product Management, Sales and other cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment with customer needs and coordinated execution of the regions’ business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute on large internal and external high-impact projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with complex and difficult client escalations in close collaboration with Team Leads and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage and communicate processes and metrics to enable highly transparent, credible, and impactful functions.
