Maximize project profits through cost & schedule control. The role will include coordinating the cost and schedule for the project working closely with product manager, NPI team, service and sales to ensure Edwards has a successful project from proposal phase to sustained operations.

Meet the customer’s requested delivery date with zero defect and minimize difference between the estimated cost and real prime costs.

Lead project by leadership to achievement performance and development team members. It could also include individuals who have people reporting responsibility where they not only need to plan and assign tasks but also motivate, coach and measure the work of their reports.

1. Manage new orders to ensure on time delivery, within budget, and to the level of Quality expected of an Edwards product.

• Plans and coordinates a number of projects to ensure they are completed to target.

• Scope plan _ Get a confirmation of the scope for the product from the Global product manager
• Schedule plan _Get a confirmation of the forecast demand and make an overall plan based on the available capacity, Estimate project schedule
• Resource plan _ Estimate resource requirement, Manages the engineering resources to ensure head count is correct to provide timely engineering solutions for ETO products.
• Prime Cost plan _ Estimate prime cost, monitor costs to ensure completion of project as an agreed budget.

2. Project performance control and report

• Manage and control the project progress and performance and Report

• Project performance monitoring and control
• Lead weekly project progress meeting and report to manager

• Risk assessment prior to starting build.
• Cost analysis by product, function, material , vender and so on.

3.  Manufacturing Capacity analysis and bottle-neck process management/ improvement. 

4.  MFG delivery risk assessment and management

5.  Inventory management – cooperation with material controller and Buyer

6.  Report monthly performance KPI and advise which function needs to action.

7.  Lead of MFG all process & Procedure improvement

8.  Continuous contact with senior managers from many different functions and company personnel at many different levels. Operate harmoniously as a member of a multi-disciplined team, often as a leader.

9.  Ensure all products and personnel comply with safety legislation and Edwards policies.

• Education level

• A Bachelor degree of Engineering or Industry management engineering
• Educated to Degree level in a technical subject Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred

• Relevant Previous experience (minimum years of experience to competently carry out the role, not total year of experience)

• Over 5 years of exprience ofProduction planning /Production management/ New product launch / Transfer production site , preferably in an engineer to order / custom product environment preferred

• Knowledge areas/Skills (minimum level of knowledge to fullfil the role’s responsibilities)

• Well organised, displaying clear, rational and analytical approach to problem solving. A good review technique and strong planning skills
• Analysis production cost and advise where have to be improved.
• Good at present and business report skill by PPT   
   

• Other requirements (e.g. Language skills; competencies; expected travel requirements)

• Good communications skills with people of all levels and different cultures.
• Strong resposibility to plan and manage projects successfully
• Continually maintain and report on an overview of project schedules and to look ahead whilst discussing detail with individuals.

Calm under pressure and able to find solutions to day-to-day project issues and problems, escalating to the Engineering Manager or functional managers where necessary. Able to maintain a positive, pro-active attitude in the face of adversity
