ABOUT THE JOB
In the role as Country People & Culture Manager, you are the leader of country People & Culture organisation,
leading all aspects of INGKA People & Culture practices, policies, processes, regulations and legislations linked to all co-workers in the country. You will business partner to Country Retail Manager providing strategic advice and translating business needs into People requirements.

In this role you will directly report to the Country Retail Manager (CEO). You are member of the Country Management Team of IKEA Korea. You will have 3 direct reports the Country People & Culture management team and will matrix to Unit People & Culture Managers. You will lead Country People & Culture team of 30 members in total.

Overall assignments connected to being a line manager and being part of the Country management team:
• Be an active member in the country management team contributing with business insight and functional
• expertise in order to secure the overall performance of the country
• Actively engage with, and share the responsibility in, the delivery of the INGKA sustainability strategy to
• enable the ongoing transformation and growth of the IKEA business.
• Secure growth, low cost and sustainable profitability in accordance with our overall purpose, retail direction
• and our financial strategy.
• Ensure high quality execution of all People processes securing performing, competent and engaged coworkers.
• Be an active partner/ambassador in building the digital transformation in the market and across the
• organisation.
• Secure interdependence and cooperation with all relevant functions and stakeholders, to secure integration
• and common focus.
• Represent the Retail country as a spokesperson and external representative for all Ingka entities within the

Assignment’s specific for the P&C Country manager role:

• Leads and develop a strategically focused management team, each with a mandate to drive their
• respective function independently in order to achieve goals and deliver the business plan
• Ensure that the People & Culture strategy, objectives and actions are an integral part of the country
• agenda and taking an holistic, business-wide view, contributing to commercial and customer experience
• goals
• Drive transformational & mindful change, by implementing our “Leadership in a new era”
• Secure and follow up that the country is working in line with the mandatory elements of People & Culture
• strategy to secure compliance and a consistent execution of the framework and policies.
• Secure efficient implementation of overall People processes, policies and yearly activities in the country.
• Lead and drive a compassionate and consistent co-worker experience across all legal entities in the
• country, building an effective cross-company network to influence key stakeholders
• Drive standardisation in People & Culture organisation in order to enable transformation toward
• digitalisation, challenging existing processes and championing continuous improvement
• Regularly review performance and budget KPIs to meet goals and secure performance excellence.
• Lead and secure the development and strengthening of the IKEA Employer Brand in the market, by
• collaborating with the country Communication team and acting as an external spokesperson on P&C
• related matters
