In this role, you contribute to customs and quarantine operation by actively establishing, optimizing operation, infrastructure and processes. You coordinate stakeholders both internal and external across supply chains, to fulfil the function goal of availability, low cost and compliance.

You have knowledge/capabilities in following areas:
• International trade and logistics education or working experience
• Good communication skill
• Good oral and written skill in both English and Korean
• Project experience
• Vendor management experience
• Proficient in MS Office
• Sensitive to external policy and compliance
• Comprehensive and Strategic thinking
• Knowledge of customs and international trade and logistics
• Knowledge of customs system & database
Your responsibilities
1. Shipment information handling for customs declaration

- Deviation and Issue handling for Shipment report, Shipping Documents(BL, Invoice and Packing list) and Customs related system.
- Tracing shipping documents and checking customs status and requirements, support customs requirements or information to secure customs release on time.

2. Internal and External stakeholder communication
- Actively communicate between internal stakeholders and external service providers such as Global customs, AP Customs, Customs broker and warehouse, to deliver the goods on time.
-Take part in developing the import and export process by provide customs and trade expertise to contribute in IKEA business development.
-Create better customs visibility to internal stakeholders by providing customs information in efficient way.

3. Support IMS importation / Express importation
- Responsible for IMS/Express importation to make sure import compliance as well as delivery schedule.
- Communicate with global IMS and user to secure import process from document receiving to delivery.

4. Customs Expense management
-Check exact customs duty/VAT with tariff rate and logistics cost.
-Trigger Manual payment process for customs duty pay for both IMS and express importation.
-Request Basware upload for customs and logistics expenses for IMS articles by informing the exact accounting information.

5. Customs documents and record archiving, Customs Inspection supporting(Sample, Product information) and Reporting(Customs status, Container aging, etc)


In this role, you will report to Customs Manager.
This role will be not offered with LTA/Mobility Package.
Working location will be located in South Korea, Gwangmyeong city.
