ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.     Supporting Biopharma business data analysis, sales reports & forecast as well as Biopharma KPI

2.     Active interaction with customers by calls, mails, flyers.

3.     Take care of customer business cycle management (order trends, billings & delivery)

4.     Regular / irregular meetings with key customers as well as internal meetings.

5.     Routine works like make an inquiry to the designated suppliers, quotation, order process, follow-up to Pos & marketing campaign execution.

6.     Closely work with CS/SC team for order to cash, including product supply status.

7.     Manage customer profile, paperwork and may visit customer upon needs, etc.

8.     Support to field sales, especially for key accounts

9.     Also needs to take care of middle-to small accounts with ownership.

10.  Leverages cross-functional resources to achieve results/meet customer needs.

11.  Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

¡¤        BS in related fields required, lifesciences (biology, biochemicals, biotechnology) major preferred.

 

Experience:

¡¤        Minimum of three (3) ~ five (5) years of experience in related job.

¡¤        Prefer one (1) ~ two (2) years of sales assistant / customer service / marketing specialist works.

 

Skills/Competencies:

¡¤        On-time completion of task and work.

¡¤        Working knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP / SalesForce.Com / C4C / Qlikview & others) business systems

¡¤        Ability to clearly communicate the intended message in formal and informal settings with Avantor employee and external vendors.

¡¤        Resilience and the ability to manage conflict.

¡¤        Ability to maintain good emotional control in difficult circumstances.

¡¤        Ability to build relationships with other team members and gain commitment toward stated goals.

 

Other Skills:

¡¤        Collaborates productively as a team member.

¡¤        Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

¡¤        Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite(PPT, XLS & etc).

The Biopharma Inside Sales Assistant works closely as a team member especially with Sales team as well as, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, 

Supply Chain, Innovation Center, and Quality.  

Other roles within Avantor that impact this role are Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and Strategic Development.

The Business Assistant reports directly to Representative Director of KR/JP in Life Sciences business.

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is mainly office based. but He/she needs travel extensively due to meeting and related conference under manager¡¯s approval.
