YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’

Develop and implement the Market environment, health and safety management systems and programs, in accordance with legal requirements, company Principle & Practices, and recognized best practices, in order to prevent injury to employees, damage to the environment, minimizes the business impact of foreseeable losses and meet company and legal requirements. Act as Health and Safety professional and focal point of contact under the entire company’s dedicated H&S organizational structure, provide leadership and direction for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of an effective Health and Safety management system that ensures compliance with Health and Safety-related regulatory requirements (i.e OSHA, SAPA)

1) Health & Safety Management Implementation

Act as Health &Safety professional and focal point of contact under the entire company’s dedicated H&S organizational structure, continuously advise and oversee for the improvement of the health & safety management system to affiliate (Market and Manufactory) based on internal compliance check results, incident investigations, business, and process, regulatory changes in collaboration with the company H&S committee and relevant business units.

2) Health and Safety-related regulatory compliance

Ensure Health & Safety-related laws are regularly monitored and check the SAPA compliance of the operations for Market and Manufactory and reports on check results of the status of compliance. Initiate the requested actions to be prepared for regulatory inspection, or any other inspection related to H&S management issues in close collaboration with the company H&S committee and relevant business units.

3) Reporting and Performance Improvement

Provide timely reporting of H&S performance indicators to the Management, Security & Market Safety Dept and the company H&S Committee by ensuring the data is updated and analyzed, to provide accurate information and improve H&S performance.

4) Risk & Incident (Emergency) Management

Lead and implement Market & Fleet Safety risk management program to reduce risks to an acceptable level. Coordinate the Market health, safety and fleet accident investigation, analysis, and reporting, and maintain records to identify causes and take actions to take to prevent the incident to occur again. Ensure that company’s emergency preparedness and response programs are implemented, and tested, in order to eliminate or minimize losses due to emergency incidents

5) Project Engagements

Participate in local, region and global projects, by providing support, advice, and clarity on the integration of Security, Market & Fleet Safety initiatives. Support for Fleet & Markets carbon neutrality roadmap to achieve environmental key performance indicators and continual improvement in collaboration with PMI OC-Sustainability team, Region Market Safety, local relevant business units.

6) Promoting Safety Awareness

Develop and implement Market & Fleet Safety training program, by analyzing the training needs, and maintaining training records. Continuously improve safety culture based on feedback, risk assessment and emergency needs.

7) Security Support

Coordination Support for implementation of Security Management program for Market (non-factory environment) where necessary.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environment Science

- Must have Statutory Occupational (industrial) Safety Engineer Certification

- Internal or External Auditor qualification is preferred

Work Experience

- Minimum 5 -7 Years working experience in Health, Safety and Environment Management (preferred in EHS consultancy experience)

- Preferred various working environment such as Headquarter office, Sales office, Warehouse, and Retails Shops. Manufacturing environment in multi-national corporations is a plus

- Experience in establishment and implementation on Health and Safety Management system including Internal H&S Audit program and reporting to the management

Functional Skills

- Advanced knowledge in Health and Safety Risk assessment

- Competence on ISO45001 plus on ISO 14001, ISO 50001

- Project management skills, data analysis, reporting, presentation skills

- Good organizational skills with the ability to balance competing demands and to meet deadlines.

- Must be willing and able to travel internally as deemed necessary to fulfil the role

- Strong business acumen

Language Skills

- Excellent in communication (written & spoken) both English and Korean Language
