Scope of Job:
This position is responsible to lead Financial Planning and Analysis Function and report to FD.
Main duties include but not limited Revenue analysis & reporting, Financial planning, Budgeting, cost analysis any ad-hoc assignments.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead Revenue analysis, daily reporting, Revenue reconciliation, Flash reporting, and etc.
- Lead Budgeting, cost analysis, and Financial planning
- Provide Price and cost analysis for new products
- Prepare various reports for HQ
- Provide support on all aspects of the Finance Department when necessary
- Any other reasonable duties or activities which may be required as appropriate.
- Ensure that all resources are used efficiently in order to minimize costs
- Ensure Merlin’s finance policies are adhered to
- Responsibility to ensure compliance of Health, Safety and Security within the workplace and in line with the group policy (HS001).
- Understand risk assessments within own workplace and ensure reporting of any new risks to appropriate line manager.
- Ensure compliance of safe working procedures in place for work activities within position.
- Maintain confidential information.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 7 years or more experience in Finance and Accounting area
- Strong analytical capability required
- Required Strong sense and understanding commercial and business flow
- Advantage of Experience in Retail or attraction business
- TM1 Experience shall be advantage
Personal Qualities:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels, including non-financial decision makers and Senior Management.
- Ability to manage time lines and due dates
Education:
- Four year degree or equivalent above.
- Preferred major in Management, Accounting or Finance
Other Requirements:
- Must have certain level of English skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must be willing to take new roles and responsibilities after completion of the project
Health & Safety:
