Key Responsibilities:

•Cisco Advanced Services NCE (Network Consulting Engineer) align and drive focused deliverables with customer's business strategy and objectives. NCEs will leverage and generate applicable technical, best practices and white papers.

•Performs and drives Networking also other technology domain (i.e., Security/Service Provider/WIFI, etc.) architectural, design and integration engineering for complex network infrastructure solutions. NCEs identify and document network design and architecture best practices.

•Build simulated networks in test labs to resolve problems and compatibility issues.

Provides ad hoc systems/product training

•In addition to an NCE day-to-day customer activities, training and mentoring other NCEs will be required. NCE owns the responsibility for driving regional Advanced Services projects and customer-based project initiatives. NCEs will actively lead complex project design, performance engineering or problem resolution projects. NCEs solve complex, cross-functional technical issues that cross boundaries over many disparate products technologies.

Multi-industry experience:

•FSI: Banking/Insurance

Technical Skills/Experience:

•CCIE or equivalent expertise, the more the better.

•2 years+ relevant experience in DC or Enterprise or SP or OTT network project delivery, or security project delivery

•Familiar with Cisco Solution/Product (at least two of below):

oNexus platforms and NX-OS/ACI OS

oCatalyst 9K platform

oSDA WIFI / SDA Security

oSD-WAN

oNCS/ASR Router with MPLS/SR, etc.

oFTD/ASA FW

•SDN Skills:

oScripting: using Python/Ansible for automation

oAPI: familiar with Rest API

•3rd Party Skills: (at least two of below)

oVirtualization: ESXi, KVM, Openstack (RH OSP)

oDocker/Container networking

oK8s/Openshift

oPython/Ansible script develop
