MAIN PURPOSE

 

The overall mission of the SWM Business Development Director is to support and coordinate the Richemont watch division activities at the country level for Korea.

 

Regional scope: Korea   

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Richemont Watch Division leadership  

Drive the Richemont Watch division Governance/Team Dynamics 
Support the distribution transformation toward ¡°Direct to Client¡± strategy
Leverage the division for external negotiation (Partners, dept store, Malls)
Represent the Richemont watch division internally & externally 
Drive the improvement of the division profitability
Coordination of market projects, information, and distribution analyses, 
Work closely with the Maisons on their 3y/5y distribution plan
Support markets on their SWM Monthly meeting (Analyses, potential projects.¡¦)
Data collection and analysis by gathering in-house market knowledge across functions/Maisons as well as external data from primary and secondary sources
Close collaboration with local Real Estate dept.
Lead any Richemont  watch division initiative  
 

Business Development

Development of the strategic partners¡¯ strategy for Domestic & Duty Free
Strengthen relationship with Dept store, Landlord
Lead strategic distribution project
Ensuring & monitor retailization KPIs
Support TimeVallée expansion plan in S. Korea
Identification, assessment, and develop strategic distribution plan for major cities
Monitoring Opening/closing POS for the watch division
Recommendation to the management on action plans and solutions to implement based on market analysis findings
Support Roll out of best practices Retail/Retailers
Support the roll out of the ¡°New Retail¡± initiatives and coordination with HQ watch division. 
 

Qualifications

10 to 15 years¡¯ experience
Bachelor¡¯s degree in Marketing or Business Management
Watch industry or luxury market knowledge
Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
Expert – Excel, Database, PowerPoint skills
Expert Communicator – emphasis on collaboration of brand stakeholders
Highly organized and able to work in a large matrix environment
Retail Real Estate knowledge preferred
Fluent in English and local language is a must
