¢Ã Position : Marketing Manager


¢Ã Responsibilities
¤± Strategy and Planning
- Lead the development of annual and quarterly strategic marketing plans for focus and core products
- Build strategy alongside the Business Unit Director and company
- Create and execute plans that support customer engagement both on and offline
- Create effective cross functional teams with marketing team, Technical team and the field force to ensure continuous alignment of marketing programs to the Business Unit activities and account plans Support Business Unit Director with weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasting
- Use detail of promotional plans to develop, review and revise sales forecasting and inventory management, accounting for seasonal variations and market demand
- Complete the monthly forecasting process and conduct monthly forecast meetings with demand planning team
- Determine and agree with Business Unit and Commercial Operations leaders the appropriate pricing structure to maximize sales and profitability. Consider value[1]based pricing and market conditions
- Maintain expertise with the evolving portfolio of products, services, pricing, competition, market and industry trends
- Gather data and feedback from a range of sources – market data, customer visits, field force feedback, market research, publications, conferences and industry contacts. Analyze and interpret; using results of analysis to inform commercial decision making

¤± Marketing Campaigns & Demand Creation
- Lead marketing campaigns that achieve appropriate impact, product positioning, market growth and profitability, with consideration for both the short and long term
- Focus the team on the customer journey to understand how best to reach the customer at each touchpoint
- Drive collaboration with sales teams to ensure all promotional materials, events and PR support the marketing priorities and objectives for each product and campaign
- Lead campaigns that allow marketing messages and product information to be easily translatable into the context of the Solution Selling model
- Work with Area Business Managers, Veterinarians, technical teams and L&D to agree training priorities and development plans for field force teams that support marketing activities
- Conduct regular customer visits to gain customer insights. Use this knowledge to feed into marketing strategy

¤± Relationships
- Develop partnerships with product stakeholders with a common goal of maximizing commerciality of products and services
- Engage with the cluster, internal global marketing teams to share best practice activities and marketing campaigns through the diverse ways
- Use links with external networks and key influencers to bring innovation to our business
- Support the Global Asset Team in their development of the key product strategies that plan a product¡¯s journey through its lifecycle
- Create networks of resources within the team around each product and marketing campaign. Utilize all resources available including Account Managers, value add service providers, technical teams, Veterinarians and Business Consultants.
- Draw on the broad knowledge of your colleagues and network to find business growth opportunities
- Seek customer centric input from the Business Unit into marketing plans and programs
- Contribute to the success of the business unit by sharing best practice with colleagues, proactively contributing ideas, and supporting others to do the same across the business

¤± People Management
- Lead the team with constant involvement and presence. Give them a specific and clear direction for the strategy, objectives, policies, practices and expectations
- Manage performance and behaviors of team members day-to-day and when required use formal people processes; performance management, training & development, individual development plans and talent & succession planning
- Lead the team through periods of organizational change. Be a vocal supporter of change that will drive process enhancements and deliver improved results
- Work closely with managers and support services to agree training priorities and development plans for the team
- Make active contributions to talent pipelining processes and act to retain and grow the talented individuals that exist in the team
- Use coaching as a tool to grow team members in ability and achievement. Embed a coaching culture in the team
- Ensure people in the team are managed using the expectations set out in our company vision, mission, values, behaviors and policies
- Create effective cross functional working groups throughout the business that enable idea sharing, relationship building and the development of support networks

¤± Financial Management & Compliance
- Produce accurate financial forecasting
- Manage allocated Direct Marketing Expenditure (DME) budget with tight control to avoid overspends
- Manage business unit expenses to comply with the Expenses Policy and avoid overspends
- Maintain high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global vet Policy, values, travel & expenses policy and local codes of practice
- Ensure the recording of accurate financial records and communicate effectively, sharing information with other stakeholders

¤± Communication
- Periodically report the market information, sales forecast to BU Director
- Immediately report any urgent, important issues to BU Director with appropriate solutions and / or alternatives
- Respond to inquiries on marketing issues from sales department in a timely and efficient manner


¢Ã Requirements
- Education: university or advanced degree,
- Experience: 7+ years of experience, which must have been spent in sales and marketing in multinational companies. Equivalent P&L responsibility
- Languages Skill: Native Korean, excellent reading, writing, speaking in English
- Presentation: Excellent presentations and public speaking skills
- Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of animal health products and customers
- Business Knowledge: Good business sense and understanding of interdisciplinary areas, including sales, finance, operations, human resources, etc.
- Leadership: Strong ability to lead and motivate on an individual and team level
- Network: Key contacts across the industry and customer base preferred
