ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Financial Reporting and Budgeting (50%)

  • - To ensure that the Company¡¯s financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, its financial position and the res ults of its operations in conformity with accounting principles 
  • - Supervising the Finance Team Leaders in the timely closing of the general and subsidiary ledgers.
  • - Reviewing accounting schedules on a regular basis
  • - Preparing the monthly management report
  • - Overseeing AR clearing management and to ensure optimal cash flow
  • - Reviewing and signing the tax declarations of the Company
  • - Coordinating with external auditors
  • - Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization
  • - To handle the budgeting process of the company
  • - Preparing and reviewing the budget templates to be given to the Division Heads
  • - Reviewing and finalizing the capex budgets by BU/functions and the total Company budget
  • - Approving all capital expenditure requests to make sure that these are within the budget
  • - Reviewing midyear business review and annual budget package
  • - Controlling actual expenses vs budget
  • - Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of division managers on financial issues impacting their budgets
  • - To review financial policies and procedures prepared by the Finance Team Leaders


2. Treasury Management (30%)

  • - To ensure efficient management of the company¡¯s cash resources
  • - Negotiating with banks on overall credit lines, bank facilities and other cash management products
  • - Reviewing and signs company payment
  • - Developing a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism to meet operating needs of the company

 

3. Corporate Tax Management (10%)

  • - Corporate income tax management and reporting to ensure compliance of Korean Tax regulation
  • - Corporate Value Added Tax review and filing 
  • - Manage National Tax Service Tax audit and document requirements
  • - Adhoc tax issue follow up with internal/external stakeholders

 

4. Others (10%)

  • - To negotiate with principals on contracted terms and conditions of the distribution agreement
  • - To asses and implement Risk Management programs



QUALIFICATIONS:
  • - Good written and spoken in English
  • - Over 8 years relevant experience in MNC 
  • - Accounting team leader or a similar job position experience in handling accounting, tax, treasury, project finance, cash flow management, legal and management reporting, systems implementation, etc
  • - Strong math skill and solid knowledge of financial/tax law
  • - Knowledge of SAP system will be a plus 
  • - Bachelor¡¯s degree (with CPA qualification) or above in financial institution 
  • - Up-to-date knowledge of market trends in pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
  • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and formal presentation skills both in Korean and English
  • - Excellent oral and written English communication; capable of making effective presentations
