Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in technology marketing, brand management, strategy consulting, or in an agency.
  • Ability to speak and write in Korean and English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in digital marketing, brand management, strategy consulting, agency, or related fields.
  • Experience leading projects involving fast-moving timelines, simultaneously moving parts, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Google products and the technology industry.
  • Ability to take an entrepreneurial approach and take initiative to resolve challenges.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to develop and understand strategy.

About the job

The gReach Learner Program is a paid upskilling program for recent university graduates and early-career industry candidates with disabilities where participants will receive on-the-job-training and work on a range of projects for one year. The goal of the gReach program is to provide participants from under represented groups with the opportunity to grow their career as professionals.

gReach Learner Associates will be placed in teams across the business such as Advertising Sales, User Support, YouTube, and Marketing. Participants will have the opportunity to be exposed to career opportunities at Google and further sharpen their professional skills. gReach Associates will learn to make an impact by working with teams on business-critical projects and collaborating with Googlers across a variety of functions. We welcome aspiring individuals who are willing to grow as professionals through the learning experience at Google.

To get familiar with Google¡¯s tools, technology, and culture, you'll acquire fundamental and on-the-job training experience, and be assigned to a role. Depending on the organization and role, as a gReach Associate, you'll work on one large project, complete smaller projects, or do the day-to-day work to support the business. You'll contribute to the business, collaborate with others, and have the opportunity to add long-lasting value beyond the conclusion of their gReach program. You will closely work with a host manager and team members who will help identify project goals, while also inspiring, mentoring and supporting the professional development of the gReach Program.

Responsibilities

  • Develop messaging, collateral, events, and business strategies aimed at acquiring customers or partners, increasing engagement with them, and measuring the efficacy of programs.
  • Use quantitative methods, models, and research to help Google better understand consumer and advertiser behavior to provide important feedback back into the product and strategic development cycle.
  • Oversee the process of marketing content creation such as case studies, website copy, blog posts, email paths, and own the social media and owned/operated activity calendar.
  • Support the localization of our product marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing, cross-functional, and external agency stakeholders.
