Communications Manager

[In Summary]

  • Developing and implementing a communication strategy for internal (i.e. employees) and external stakeholders (i.e. journalists, brokers/agents, clients, regulators) 
  • Developing, implementing and coordinating communication activities and campaigns
  • Protecting the corporate brand and reputation
  • Implementing communication strategies aligned with Regional Communications activities

 
[Duties and responsibilities]

  • Internal Communications
    • Develop internal messages to ensure that staff are briefed on regional and local priorities and actions
    • Manage communications through on/offline internal communications channels (email, intranet, hotline, face-to-face meetings, townhall) and evaluate channels
    • Develop and implement employee engagement activities and campaigns
    • Organize local townhall to facilitate the cascade strategic/tactical messaging for the success of the local business and the collaborative corporate culture
    • Support to develop and implement CSR activities as employees engagement opportunities
  • External Communication
    • Develop and implement a communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation
    • Research and write press releases, and content for the company website and social media, infographics
    • Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company¡¯s policies, principles, and strategies, and keep up-to-date with relevant developments
    • Arrange and coordinate press conferences, and plan events
    • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and key external role-players
    • Maintain a database of key journalists to contact for the distribution of press releases or in case of crisis management. Log all media contact for record purposes
    • Review and distribute a daily monitoring to all employees
    • Manage and work closely with PR agency
  • Brand Management
    • Act as the local brand guardian in ensuring the correct application of the brand across a variety of media 
    • Communicate the regional communications team regarding branding guideline 
  • Business Support
    • Work with business teams and attend business meetings to ensure a clear understanding of business needs to align marketing & communications plans with business needs/goals 
    • Support to organize events e.g. seminars/roadshows with opinion formers/clients/brokers to demonstrate company¡¯s value proposition
    • Timely update and provide corporate profile contents 

[ÀÚ°Ý¿ä°Ç]

  • Bachelor¡¯s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications (Preferred)
  • A minimum of 7 years experiences in PR agency and in-house communications (Essential)
  • Extensive experience in internal and external communications
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Korean/English
  • Content writing experience for all media platforms
  • Work well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools
