[Core Work Activities]
Mainly responsible for the following general in-house legal affairs.
-Ensure the company¡¯s activities comply with local laws and internal regulations
-Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and general legal documents
-Conduct legal research and advise on various legal issues
-Carry out group company security policy analysis and local application
-Diagnosis and co-management of information security-related protection measures with internal stakeholders
-Draft regulatory applications and advice on responding to data privacy and security customer and regulatory inquiries and
investigations
-Provide guidance to cross-departmental employees regarding data privacy and security matters
-Provide legal training to various divisions and functions of the company
-Support in identifying and addressing legal issues in a pragmatic mindset
[Qualification & Preferred]
-University graduate
-Korean or US Lawyer Qualification required
-+4 ~ 6 years experienced
-At least 4 years of work experience in the legal profession, including 2 years in managing data privacy legal matters
-Major in law or data privacy
-Solid experience with general corporate, regulatory, and commercial legal issues
-The ability to analyze and manage projects and related risks
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate comfortably at all levels with Divisions,
Regions, and Group
-A sense of balance between strong compliance and business-friendly mindsets
-Cross-cultural interaction
-Proficient with MS Office applications
-Fluent in both Korean and English
