This position is for future opportunities with Schneider. We are actively recruiting and interviewing for future positions in Business Development to support us to grow in Schneider Electric Korea’s target market while complying to the local regulation guides.

What will you do?

- Participate to the project stage and product evolution to include the standard and certification requests

- Define, negotiate and propose part of the certification files and test programs to the certification bodies

- Define, negotiate, prepare, plan and coordinate the tests in the internal or external laboratories

- Be the owner of the certification file, monitor the portfolio and publish to the countries

- Support the factory audits

- Propose actions to reduce the cost and the lead time to get a certification

- Watch out for new or modification of local regulations and also to deliver trainings when required to internal/external customers

- Manage customs clearance internal procedures (identification of candidacy on local certification and delivering reason for non-target judgment, etc)

- Develop and manage local certificate database as well as printable certified local product label database.

- Communicate and persuade LOB to mark local certification mark on product from the production stage.

- Manage local certification (KC, KCC, explosion-proof, Marine, Energy & High-efficiency and etc) process in full scope.

- Be the SPoC for all certification matters

- Manage global certificates such as UL/IEC which is locally demanding but not in global

-Submit annual certification budgets by business.

About certification manager - Certification Manager is a personal who plays very unique and highly important role in this company. Your guidance and support will help our business to comply to the local regulations of concerned categories. You will be working closely with Business offer managers as well as concerned LOBs. Also you will work closely with various teams to aid our customers on certification related objectives.

Qualifications

Who would be successful?

- EMC/RF certification experience

- Electrical safety certification experience

- Working knowledge of Korean regulatory compliance arrangement

- Has high level of understanding in electrical components

- Highly motivated

- Demonstrate ability to influence and convince

- Ability to work with incomplete and complex data

- Strong written English reporting and oral communication skills

- Commitment to diversity of thought and innovation

- Desire to undertake training and self-development

- Engineering background and/or equivalent experience of more than 5 years

- Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, or industrial engineering to be able to understand certification candidates.
