Introduction to the job

Within ASML Customer Support (CS) is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations. One of the departments in this sector is CS CW EUV Upgrades, responsible for providing Upgrade/SD support to Customers and CS sustaining team. 

In upgrade team, One of the key roles of project coordinators is to manage all planned upgrade projects from Preparation to execution and Wrap-up as well together with PL.


Role and responsibilities

- Proactively involves on EUV upgrades at customer locations(WW), from preparation and execution to wrap-up phase

- Closer work with managers, project Leader, generalist and key stakeholders

- Prioritize and coordinate activities and ensure actions are carried out timely

- Update COI based on upgrade progress and report the progress daily

- Drive & Closely monitor upgrade progress

- Fast escalation to find containment or permanent solution

- Intensive support for upgrade projects to be completed within the committed date

- Critical Issues follow up with stakeholders such as 2nd line team, Generalist, Project leaders and GSC in order to minimize impact on upgrade schedule.

- Lead and track SOs and AIRs.

- Proactively engage in ZRGP/DRB/DRI/Lesson Learned/Postmortem/CI

- Ensure parts/tools preparation for coming day¡¯s upgrade work.

- Ensure administrative documentation is completed in a clear, concise and timely manner.  

- Represent ASML at the customer¡¯s site in a professional way and take responsibility for overall coordination in upgrade.

- Daily reporting of upgrade progress and issues to customers and local management team. Communicate executive summaries when requested to do so. 

- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

- Active participation in upgrade improvement projects

Education and experience

- Bachelor¡¯s degree like Mechatronics, Mechanical engineering, Electronics, Electric engineering, (Applied) Physics, or comparable.


- Experience in a customer support department for high tech products. Photo-lithography, Electro-Mechanical or Ultra Clean


- Vacuum experience preferred.

- Engineers with 2-3 years ASML EUV or NXT hands-on experience is preferred, project management skills a plus

- Experience in coordinator role for ASML system or other semiconductor equipment is preferred.
