[´ã´ç¾÷¹«] ¡á Essential Job Functions • Solicit bids from vendors, review vendors¡¯ responses and coordinate with the discipline engineers to clarify pre-bid queries for compliance with requirements, perform pricing analysis, and recommend contract awards that result in best value procurement. • Perform pre- walk on checklist to make vendors understand the scope. • Prepare commercial bid tabulations, conduct commercial negotiation and conclude on commercial requirements. • Draft, handle and negotiate all commercial matters pertaining to Purchase Orders. • Ensure materials are purchased at or below the budget / standard cost to drive material savings and enhance margins on our projects • Utilize advanced negotiation concepts to fully maximize our material savings potential • Implement pricing agreements as required with key suppliers. • Improve working capital by extending payment terms, and support procuring materials Just In Time (JIT) to meet project requirements. • Identify, evaluate and monitor risks for selection of alternate vendor proposals • Select and qualify suppliers as per the corporate processes and tools and coordinate with Engineering Team • Perform a vendor evaluation and site audit when required with the vendor. • Develop the regional supply base to ensure *** business objectives are met for both direct material and outsourced services. • Maintain existing vendor relationship and initiate potential new vendor relationship continuously improves supplier performance and relationships through a documented and quantitative Supplier Evaluation Program. Be the principal contact for all commercial and contractual matters. • Handle other tasks as assigned from time to time.
¡á Position Competencies • Preferably having vessel and rotating equipment sourcing experience in Oil &Gas industries • Organized and methodical approach with a strong attention to detail and compliance. • Effective analytical skills and decision making to provide sound commercial recommendations, problems solving and time management. • Ability to work autonomously, effectively within a team and in cross-functional teams whilst recognizing when it is appropriate to escalate an issue to management. • Time management and prioritizing of multiple projects, tasks and time-lines to meet demand • Strong commercial acumen • Highly organized self-starter with ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner • Proven track record of conducting successful negotiations resulting in significant cost savings • Good understanding of contracts and assessment of risks on terms & conditions. • Excellent English Verbal and written communication skills
