As a Senior Legal Counsel for Electrification Business Area, you will independently review and redline of Sale contracts, procurement contracts, risk assessment of contracts in line with ABB corporate guidelines. The position is based in Seoul and reporting directly to the Regional General Counsel of Electrification Business Area of ABB, across APAC.

Your responsibilities

• Providing local legal support in South Korea in connection to Electrification Business
• Reviewing independently and redline of sale contracts, procurement contracts, risk assessment of contracts in line with ABB corporate guidelines
• Being responsible for integrity and the formulation, interpretation and implementation of ABB policies to ensure consistency and compliance applicable local laws
• Supporting in improvement or development of legal processes, due diligence and legal productivity, simplicity, and standardization, reflecting the country specific requirements.
• Supporting ABB Integrity program and support Integrity initiatives in close collaboration with the Corporate Counsel and Regional General Counsel

Your background

• Legal degree from accredited law school with a demonstrable superior academic record
• First Legal experience or equivalent in an internationally recognized law firm or multinational company
• Demonstrable computer literacy with specific ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other software such as redlining tools.
• Demonstrable fluency in English, including ability to draft and negotiate legal and corporate documents in English and such other language(s).
• Strong command of corporation law and practices
• Relevant work permit
