RESPONSIBILITES (¼öÇà ¾÷¹«)
- Perform stress analysis on primary composite structures and metallic components using hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEMAP, SIMCENTER 3D, Nastran, linear and non-linear FEM creation and validation)
- Perform stress analysis to support development work, initial sizing or final sizing input for the following aircraft structures - wing and associated control surfaces and fixed leading and trailing edge structure, fuselage, empennage, control systems and secondary airframe components.
- Work with Aerodynamics, Loads, Powertrain, Performance, CFD, Design and Manufacturing team to develop load paths and airframe structural configuration layouts.
- Participate in regularly scheduled design reviews and is responsible to present stress findings and challenge design solutions.
- Develop or review structural qualification plans in accordance with FAA Part 23 standards and regulatory requirements.
- Document structural analysis in formal reports to show compliance with airworthiness requirements and develop structural tests and post-process the results to establish allowable strength data
REQUIRED (Áö¿ø ÀÚ°Ý)
- 5+ years of working experience in relevant industry
- Experience with airframe structural component and conceptual design analysis.
- B.S. or above in mechanical, aerospace engineering or relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in Static (FE and free-body) analysis
- Proficiency in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT) analysis methods and tools (i.e Nasgro) is an added advantage
- Experience with finite element software such as Femap, Nastran, Hypermesh, Abaqus, SIMCENTER 3D and Hypersizer.
- Experience with composite and metallic materials including allowables.
- Experience in finding compliance to FAA/EASA Aircraft regulatory requirements
- Experience with 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) package, such as CATIA V5 or Siemens NX.
- Self-starter, team player, and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge on Automation or skill to develop macro is an added advantage.
