Key Responsibilities:
Uphold the image of the brand
- Represent CHANEL as a fragrance ambassador, refined and professional
- Immaculate grooming / makeup at all times.
- Ensure that all communication/interaction with customers are in line with CHANEL¡¯s image and standards.
- Speak confidently during fragrance consultation.
- Provide wholistic consumer experience including product, storytelling of the brand legacy, heritage & product ingredient and discovering right fragrance for customer, fragrance styling
- Maintain cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards in relation to all tools, testers and counters at point-of-sales and Masterclass at all times.
Deliver Excellent Service
- Adopt the right approach and create desire for CHANEL fragrances through effective fragrance consultation that match customer¡¯s need and preferences.
- Inspire customers by offering a luxurious and unique CHANEL fragrance experience.
- Schedule appointments for fragrance consultations to recruit new customers and offer a new experience to existing customers.
- Establish a solid customer base and build customer loyalty.
- Share philosophy, tips on CHANEL fragrances (linking to bath lines) and beauty products to encourage cross-sell.
- Assist and/or conduct workshops / seminars to educate customers and to demonstrate Brand expertise, know-how and professionalism.
Sale and KPI management:
- Drive and track Masterclass sales targets and results on daily / weekly / monthly bases.
- Support Promotion Professional to make promotion plan setting with internal/external stakeholders (promotion sales target/scheduling/location, etc)
- Seek continuous improvement and update in achieving higher performance and sales targets defined by counter/boutique manager.
- Be committed to Masterclass-related CRM KPI to achieve new customer recruitment, repeated purchase and develop long-term consumer loyalty through fragrance journey
- Provide personalized service to customers and link / cross-sell to skincare and makeup in order to drive sales.
- Work with Beauty Advisors and assist them in link and cross-selling CHANEL frag products to customers.
- Convey passion and provide assistance to BA in CHANEL Fragrances.
Operations
- Attendance and Punctuality
- Respect and abide by operational rules and regulations as set out by CHANEL and the department store.
- Ensure all operational procedures regarding sales, returns, transfers, stock adjustments and all policies are followed.
- Manage Masterclass inventory (fragrance bar, consultation area).
- Ensure the protocol of ceramic blotters impregnation & quality control of the blotters is observed
- Supervise the utilization of SPM, ensure alignment to company guideline (samples, testers, shopping bags, gift-wrapping etc)
- Ensure all customers¡¯ details and sales data are recorded and maintained properly, CEM data on each customer is kept up-to-date, in accordance to the policy on Collection and Protection of Company Data.
Market Intelligence
- Provide feedback on results of CHANEL fragrances and competitive events to management.
- Provide customer¡¯s feedback and finding / observation to management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor products and launches.
- Continuously improve and update on product knowledge, skills and keep abreast of new trends / techniques in the market.
Teamwork
- Carry out responsibilities to reflect CHANEL mission, vision and values.
- Act interdependently and demonstrate team spirit.
- Develop a partnership with Beauty Advisors, constantly inspire and be a role model
Any other duties as assigned
Academic / Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor¡¯s degree or above, Certificate in Perfumery or Cosmetic is a plus .
Work Experience and Requirements
- Basic knowledge in perfumery is required.
- Good selling skills across the 3 products axis with a distinct interest and passion for fragrances.
- Strong communication ability with excellent skill or word choices (use of elegant yet accurate language – expressive and professional).
- Strong customer service orientation – rich in emotion and empathy
- Strong interpersonal skill – must work well in a team environment.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in mother tongue and English is a plus
- French verbal communication (preferred).
- Professional and ethical in beauty industry.
