YOUR ¡®DAY TO DAY¡¯


Manager Customer Development¡¯s main goal is to maximize revenue growth enabled through optimal portfolio mix, availability, visibility and pricing, together with strong partnering with all operators. He/she can achieve this through:

• Solid understanding of the business environment (consumer, competition, channels, partners)

• Recommendations of new product introductions or delisting based on accurate and proactive read of the market & an understanding of global portfolio and priorities.

• Accurate product forecasting and timely tracking, monitoring and reporting of product stocks at the operator.

• A comprehensive understanding of pricing that maximizes company revenue

• Strong partnerships with retail customers to influence business decisions on behalf company

• Excellent execution of merchandising


You are going to work at

• Market insight :

- Develop an understanding of shopper profiles and main competing brands by channel, market and/or account

- Conduct performance analysis by several segments, to understand passenger flow, traffic and store layout.

• Portfolio :

- Execute portfolio expansion plan, for new launches, to collect all technical information

• Pricing :

- Collect relative information (benchmarking, consumer demand etc) and propose recommendation for RSP

• Channel development

- Plan POS coverage (visits, merchandising, etc.) based on the touchpoint segmentation, for the channels, geographies and accounts of responsibility

• Account management & partnership

- Build solid relationships and increase direct mutual partnerships with local account customers by understanding their needs and priorities. Maintain partnership with domestic counterparts to find synergies for new and ongoing business initiatives


WHO WE¡¯RE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor¡¯s degree from University or above
• Minimum 6 years and above of combined experience in Field sales, Trade marketing or buyers from FMCG multinational company or retail industry.
• Good command of written and spoken Korean and English
• Good understanding of portfolio and key sales competencies like volume forecasting, stock management, and marginal contribution. Also good understanding of key trade marketing concepts like merchandising & planogram as well as category management. At last, good financial understanding in the areas of pricing, margins, scenario analysis and P&L.
• Competent user of MS office
