[Role Summary]


Join us as the Technical Director which will have the responsibility of overseeing all our technical divisions across the development, construction, and operations phases of our offshore wind projects. You will be responsible for leading the overall technical team internally at KREDO and structuring future project organograms and hires. In addition, you will be the lead KREDO Representative in technical aspects to our offshore wind projects and lead the KREDO technical team members working on these projects. As a Technical Director, you must possess a strong entrepreneurial drive, outstanding communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and good planning and organizational skills. The exceptional Technical Director should streamline technical & engineering work processes, effectively direct and improve our development and construction strategy in line with overall business strategy. 



[Key Responsibilities]


• Manage all the technical divisions in KREDO

• Recruiting a technically strong and efficient team to support the development and delivery of these projects

• Creating and then implementing internal processes and procedures for the technical team

• Be the lead KREDO Representative in technical aspects to our offshore wind projects and work closely with the Project Directors to manage project scope, schedule, cost and resources

• Manage all our technical members working on the project and oversee the deliverables from our team within the project

• Demonstrate excellent HSE standards and performance in all aspects of your work

• Lead the design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, from the early planning to the handing-over to the O&M Department, and on the supply chain side of the project.

• provide updates on the technical progress of the project to the senior management team and project partners

• Responsible for the technical and economic feasibility and efficiency of both the EPC process and the resulting asset. He/she will coordinate between the various technical and supporting functions such as the technical disciplines (WTG, ELEC, FND, O&M) and QA/QC, HSSE, contracting, finance, project controls etc. and ensure that all interfaces are diligently dealt with.

• Take on a role of 2nd line negotiator in conflicts with contractors or suppliers that are not being resolved at Package Manager level.

• Ensure that the contracts are managed proactively by the Package Managers and their teams to allow safe, qualitative, timely and within budget delivery of the functioning assets to O&M, thereby maintaining a good and strong relationship with the key contractors and suppliers.

• Establish and follow-up on the overall project contracting strategy with due regard for the project owner¡¯s and financing preferences/

• Ensure that the necessary recommendations on choices between solutions and suppliers are generated and approved in line with the project¡¯s governance requirements in a timely

manner.

• Take on a proactive role in identifying and controlling risks for the project.



[Qualification]


• Minimum of [15] years of experience in offshore wind sector.

• Bachelor¡¯s degree or above in engineering as well as a solid technical understanding of and relevant experience from the offshore industry

• Experience required in implementing & execution of large project in leadership roles, with strong organization development & leadership skills.

• have experience from a similar position as Project Director, EPC Director, or package manager for WTG or Foundations and have hands-on experience with all phases of the execution, construction and operations and maintenance of offshore wind projects or large CAPEX projects

• have technical skills and understanding of commercial and technical risk management

• have experience in managing complex and multiple contracts to be able to support project teams across the delivery of the project and challenging situations

• have strong leadership skills and management capability to lead and coordinate a technical team

• possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in written and spoken English

• be willing to be based in Korea on a permanent, long-term basis
