[Role Summary]

 

As a Project Director, you will lead KREDO¡¯s large-scale offshore wind projects through the development phase until engineering, procurement, and construction handover for final investment decision, which requires proactive mindset with robust development and project management experience. The Project Director will supervise development team and project control team in carrying out KREDO¡¯s offshore wind project and keeps upper management personnel informed as to how a particular plan is progressing. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality project delivery and business objectives met with respect to timeline, budget, agreed scope, and specifications.



[Key Responsibilities]

 

¡¤        Establish development strategy of the projects by reviewing and understanding the market trend, government policies, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapes.

¡¤        Take initiative in delivering projects under his/her responsibility with close collaboration with the internal organizations in charge of technical and commercial matters.

¡¤        Manages project resource allocations, including recruitment and individual performance challenges if they arise.

¡¤        Manages team leads and managers and enables them to supervise and manage their own teams to delivery or exceed to overall project outcomes.

¡¤        Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, schedules, budgets, and risks.

¡¤        Understands the context of the organization in a broader perspective and all the changes that take place outside the realm of the operational area and the project and have the project approach, timing, and impact all aligned properly.

¡¤        Makes strategic decisions and provides leadership and direction to team leads and managers to implement those decisions.

¡¤        Holds the overall responsibility for the management of large-scale, multimillion-pound projects, including commercial, technical & site construction responsibilities that achieve, or exceed performance targets

¡¤        Devises cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion.

¡¤        Acts as the senior customer interface for allocated projects, ensuring the voice of the customer is heard and customer expectations are exceeded.

¡¤        Manage key stakeholders related to the progress of the projects, including government officials, local residence/fishermen, media, other developers, and industrial parties.

¡¤        Co-responsible (together with the support of the technical and commercial directors) for the selection of subcontracted activities, plant and services, including negotiating the contract terms and conditions.

¡¤        Report to top management and board members associated with key project development matters in clear and concise way to receive necessary approvals in timely manner.

¡¤        Implementation of regular risk and opportunity reviews within the project

¡¤        Manages risks to avoid delays, cost increases or reputational damage

¡¤        Ensures Safety, Health and Environmental requirements are implemented to the highest standards and are aligned to KREDO¡¯s, and our customers, governance / requirements.

¡¤        Ensures permits and legal papers are secured ahead of the project

 


[Qualification]

 

¡¤        Minimum of [15] years of experience in related fields.

¡¤        Significant direct experience in renewable power and offshore plant development market. Those with experience developing at least one full cycle of an offshore wind project will be given highest priority.

¡¤        Strong understanding and experience in the renewable project development process from development right acquisition, to permitting through to construction, implementation, and operations.

¡¤        Detailed understanding of the key commercial value drivers and technical risks associated with the development and operation of offshore wind energy projects

¡¤        Strong problem solving and analytical skills combined with ability to deliver practical, effective and sustainable solutions in a continuously changing environment.

¡¤        Excellent interpersonal skills with staff at all levels, ability to get the message across in a coherent and clear way and lead projects with great confidence at its most difficult and challenging times.

¡¤        Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
