Your role:
 

Take overall responsibility of implementing and supervising site manufacturing activities, including but not limited to safety, quality, productivity, cost/budget control, customer service and new product introduction, during site construction phase and future site operation phase, to ensure related manufacturing objectives realization.

• Participate the design, construction, commissioning, installation qualification, operational qualification of site construction project. Lead the performance qualification and process validation of manufacturing process with the support from giving site experts, tech transfer team and supply chain production planning.
• Supervise production team and be responsible for daily manufacturing operations, ensure every shift performance is well planned and achieved, ensure goodwill is maintained with all employees through communication, awareness, interpersonal skills, and fairness.
• Ensure products are provided/delivered to customers on time within targeted product quality, yield, operating costs, and process efficiencies.
• Identify/prioritize/engage resources to meet the annual operating plan and budget commitments.
• Focus on talent development and employee engagement improvement, talent pool built up especially for front line leadership capability improvement, commit to employee feedback and developmental processes. 
• Initiate continuous improvement projects and continuously drive for cost saving and waste minimization to reduce standard cost.
• Responsible for assuring compliances to all regulatory requirements – ISO, EHS, etc. 
• Support new product transferring in and responsible to implement commercial production with high quality & competitive standard cost to meet customer needs
• Interfaces with the other managers/customers to ensure our quality commitments, consistency in personnel policy administration across the plant.
• Support plant-wide strategic plan programs and activities. 
• Other assigned tasks which are required by Site Head.

Who you are:
 

• Bachelor degree or above, preferring material science and engineering, Pharmaceutical, or Biology. 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing process and managerial role.
• Fluent in English with speaking, reading, and writing.
• Good communications skills and strong leadership capability.
• Familiar with basic MS office software.
• Ability to work effectively across the organization, proactively interacting with Supply Chain, and Quality functions.
• SAP experience is a must.
• GMP experience is preferred.
• As for the work location, it will be currently located in Song-do, but it will be changed to *Sihwa or *near Daejeon area according to the site decision later.

Working in Songdo for a certain period of time after joining the company (period may vary by position)
