TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

- Contract Type : Contract (1 year 8 months)
- Work location : Philip Morris Korea, 67, Sanmakgongdannam 12-gil, Yangsan-si, Gyeongsangnam-do

YOUR ¡®DAY TO DAY¡¯

1. Control inbound logistics flow and costs
- Coordinate incoming shipment and maintain information in database in timely manner
- Establish and update inbound logistics plan to pull in cargos to the factory considering stock status & requirement
- Provide arrival schedule to the relevant parties
- Evaluate shipment timeliness and cost effiectiveness
- Verify all the cost related to inbound logistics

2. Carry out customs clearances and duty payments for importation
- Validate shipping documents and rectify discrepancies in cooperation with suppliers
- Allocate appropriate HS codes in accordance with local laws and GCCS (Global customs compliance system)
- Maintain EDI (Electronic Data Interchange with customs) system
- Consult customs clearance process with the logistics service provider in compliance with PM policies and procedures
- Evaluate credit and bank guarantee on a regular basis
- Provide customs related information to the relevant parties

3. Comply with local customs regulations and PM guidelines
- Coordinate on-site customs audits regularly or irregularly to prevent penalty
- Collect updated tariff rates, analyze business implication and provide solid information for making necessary decision
- Maintain all statutory and duty payment documents and respond to audits from the national tax authority and customs office

4. Coordinate a global marine cargo insurance
- Raise a marine cargo claim for the damaged goods during importation
- Evaluate and reconcile a marine cargo insurance premium on an annual basis


WHO WE¡¯RE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor¡¯s degree in International Trading, Business Administration or equivalent
• At least 3 years¡¯ experience in Supply Chain, especially with Inbound and Outbound logistics, shipping, or customs clearance
• Work experience in an international company is preferred
• Clear & strong communication skills
• Good understanding of international trade, export, import process
• Fluent in Korean and proficient in Business English
• Competent user of MS office and SAP program
