Total visit nursing care for patients who have discharged to their home or nursing home with home ventilator to let them keep using the machine safely based on diverse professional knowledge (equipments check, evaluate the patients’ condition and ventilator using status, feedback to medical staffs, etc.)
1.HMV customer regular visit
"1) Regular equipments maintenance :
*The equipments :
Ventilator, cough assist, humidifier, pulse oximetry, external battery, cart, etc.
① Check equipment operating conditions, appearance, noise, preventive checks
② Equipment history management (serial number check)
2) Consumables exchange : Change ventilator circuit & filter
3) Ventilator using status check :
Check tolerance to ventilator, using hours and patterns
Confirm setting parameters & check monitor parameters
4) Patient monitoring : Monitor RR, PR, SpO2, EtCO2 of patients
5) Patient education
① Educate how to act at emergency situations
② Educate how to use a ambu-bag(manual resuscitation)
③ Educate how to operate and maintain the equipments
④Educate how to troubleshoot problems
⑤ Educate how to fit a mask
⑥ Educate how to use consumables : exchange circuits and filters, clean a mask
6) Record and provide the data related to ventilator using status & patient monitor to patients : Also if necessary, report to medical staff directly
2. LTOT with ventilator using patients regular visit
1) Regular equipments maintenance & using status check
2) Consumables exchange
3) Patient monitoring : SpO2
4) Patient education
3.Others
1). Consumables release : Write letters of release request and input the information into ERP system, release the items
2) Write medical care expenses account rendered and integrated reporting
3) Rental payments management
4) Documention work related to device under rental
5) Preventive device replacement and device replacement if necessary
