Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product management, consulting, investment banking, or business development.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently to collaborate with colleagues and complete tasks and projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in the internet or consumer hardware space (e.g., mobile, SoC, display).
  • Experience interpreting legal documents and working with attorneys on drafting specific agreement language.
  • Understanding of consumer electronics and the mobile value chain/ecosystem.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.

As a member of the global Platform and Ecosystems Device team, you will work with the Platform and Ecosystem Product and Engineering teams to commercialize cutting-edge Google products to ensure users can experience the best of Google services and technology. Additionally, you will lead distribution, adoption, and promotion of Google AI (cloud-based Generative AI, on-device models), apps (e.g., messaging, video, chatbots, etc) and experiences through the computing platforms (e.g., Android, WearOS, Health).

We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full business stack, open doors with partners, lead exploratory talks, build consensus with executives internal and external to Google, discuss complex, strategic business initiatives, programs, and partnerships.
  • Scale out and implement new Platform and Ecosystem initiatives, including product teaching and product growth.
  • Drive distribution of Google internet services and AI via Google computing platforms.
  • Lead partner go-to-market activities to drive premium mobile phones and watch device business with partner headquarters and local subsidiary offices (e.g., Japan).
