The Position
The person in this position is expected to ensure BE compliance for the Bio Pharma and Institutional Sales division of Novo Nordisk Korea by implementing processes and programs for effective monitoring and training.
 
Roles & Responsibilities
 

• Provide daily advice on compliance issues and ensure adherence to business ethics.
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate our Business Ethics Compliance Strategy and Plan to drive compliance and mitigate risks.
• Monitor and detect any potential violations of laws or misleading advertisements. Track industry trends and provide updates to management on compliance-related matters.
• Take on the role of a Local Legal representative and assume responsibility for KRPIA report monitoring. Compliance reviewer of the Donation committee, attend the Donation Review Committee Meeting when there is a donation, review the donation.
• Ensure compliance training is offered to managers and teams, and that all mandatory training and tests are completed. Collaborate with commercial teams to develop compliance into a competitive advantage.

•             A minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is required.  (In accordance with your previous experience, the job title may be changed to Senior Compliance Specialist or Compliance Specialist).

•             Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, healthcare, life sciences) is preferred with proven track record of developing and implementing compliance strategies and business processes.

•             Strong acknowledgement and expertise in regulations and laws with proficiency in Korean and English both in written & verbal.

•             Experience in developing and delivering compliance training programs. In-depth experience with Business Ethics and Compliance in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry (including codes of conduct, Korean Research-based Pharmaceutical Industry Association(KRPIA) code).

•             A team player with strong social and communication skills, eager to interact with and recognize the needs of a diverse group of people spanning a broad range of business teams and executives, including regional and global stakeholders. Preferred to be respectful, open-minded, stable, encouraging, persuasive, passionate, and energetic. Possesses a humble attitude and a keen interest in the healthcare industry. Devoted to continuous learning and personal development, self-motivated, and capable of proactively advancing the compliance agenda.
