Operations Manager Korea
Role Summary:
Provide overall leadership and execution of a sales operational strategy while working to make data-driven decisions by providing timely reports and analyses. Other responsibilities include handing order processing, delivery on timely basis as well as planning and updating the supporting operational reports and analysis.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Operation including SCM/Service Center
- • Determines and implements the Short/ medium & Long-term strategy for supply chain department.
- • Manages supply chain department responsible for IBP and S&OP.
- • Identifies opportunities for performance improvement, within own group and advises on other related areas.
- • Drives quality standards, targets and methods to control process quality.
- • Monitors and controls processes and identify the root cause of issues/waste.
- • Drives a quality mindset throughout Operations.
- • Aligns the supply chain processes between the different groups in own department.
- • Monitor team and individual performance, offers and encourages opportunities for development.
- • Drives HS&E procedures and standards in compliancy with regulations.
- • Monitors employees¡¯ health and safety at work and ensures working methods, equipment, premises and environment are safe.
- • Defines and oversees the implementation of new systems and processes (including Lean) and implements new supply chain concepts.
- • Analyses supply chain data to influence and improve sales, production and purchasing.
- • Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
- • Identifies improvement opportunities across the E2E supply chain by detecting KPI trends and/or analying internal and external data to generate and implement value adding solutions with the customer in mind.
- • Possesses strong working knowledge of Supply Chain Management, including the underlying theories and concepts.
- • Has a very strong understanding of products and services within the functional area, as well as the operational supply chain processes and the business line strategies.
- • Strong understanding of E2E production cycles.
- • Warehouse management with optimized cost and ¡°0¡± quality incident.
- • Deep knowledge of Lean, value stream and process management to drive improvements and to solve complex problems in a supply chain environment.
- • Effectively manages the stakeholder ecosystem by applying influencing and negotiation skills to persuade others, cultivate ¡®win-win¡¯ value, and positively position our brand.
- • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or solve technical problems.
- • Challenges self and others to develop reciprocal and mutually beneficial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders for collaboration and leveraging of the partnership.
- • Identifies, understands, and manages risk as input for decision making.
- • Applies hands on experience of Lean, Six Sigma and rapid problem solving techniques to foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency in execution of standard processes.
- • Disciplined application of root cause analysis to make data driven decisions that have a clear and evaluated impact on business outcomes.
- • Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- • Applies Change Management in situations of Continuous Improvement.
- • Follows workplace health and safety instructions and immediately works to fix any issues.
- • Strong attention to product and process quality.
- • Manages activities of two or more sections or departments with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.
- • In some instances this manager may have subordinate supervisors.
- • 3rd Party service partner management for repair and refurbish service effectively.
- • Manage Service Center Operation including Optimized working process set up (Repair/Refurbish).
- • Develop CPAP refurbish optimized process.
- • Build entire Respiratory device repair capability in Service Center.
- • Robotics Process Automation process deploy and continuously ongoing daily support.
- • Deploy strong Data Privacy protection process with effectively work with Legal team.
- • Service Center & Supply Chain management team resources capability building.

- • Applies hands on experience of Lean, Six Sigma and rapid problem solving techniques to foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency in execution of standard processes.
- • Responds effectively to unpredictable or unexpected events.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- • Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales operations & SCM management.
- • Must be able to understand and work in a matrix organization.
- • Must be able to manage any of SAP as well as ERP system.
- • English language at a very good level is required.
- • Excellent knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- • Ability to communicate effectively and to work as a part of a team.
- • Ability to influence at all levels within the organization.
- • Prior experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not mandatory.
