The role.

This role is not tailored for hiring accountants or tax experts. As a vital member of our company, your primary responsibility will be to lead and oversee accounting and tax matters. One of global big 3 accounting firm will manage tasks such as accounting audits, VAT and corporate income tax reporting. Based on your professional experience and knowledge, you'll be the link between our company and external experts, at the same time follow-up on action items with necessary departments within the company. Therefore, your primary role is to effectively manage and oversee the company's accounting and financial operations in alignment with external professional service providers.

•  • Responsible for local accounting topics with hands-on experience in handling full set of local accounts.
•  • Aid the regional accountants regarding IFRS topics (i.e., accounting advisory to the business, closing and reporting tasks, disclosure requirements)
•  • Be a Topic Matter coordinator for complex local accounting topics with external accounting firm and IFRS topics with regional accountants.
•  • Support the third-party tax consultant (third-party accounting firm) for corporation tax and VAT reporting.
•  • Support third-party and intercompany foreign currency transactions documentation for reporting to Bank of Korea and coordinates treasury topics.
•  • Coordinate and support audit activities (internal and external)
•  • Support for the internal control matters for the organization.
•  • Be a strong partner to the local business and support them in selected tasks.
•  • Perform financial statement reviews and follow-up on action items in alignment between external accounting firm and the business finance team.
•  • Support and coordinate with external party for accounting and tax issues in alignment with Finance manager and CFO
•  • Support ad-hoc requirements/tasks.

Your profile.

•  • Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent with minimum 3 of relevant working experience
•  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is not mandatory. We prioritize hands-on experience and consider it more valuable and essential.
•  • Experience/working knowledge in handling corporation tax and VAT matters.
•  • Experience of SAP (especially finance modules) is preferred.
