Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

12 years of experience in Security Product/Solution sales and goal carrying/account management.

Experience working with clients, including C-level in the cybersecurity or IT field.

Experience in Cyber Security/Cloud.


Preferred qualifications:

Experience working with and managing all stakeholders in complex implementation projects.

Experience starting a territory from scratch and understanding the security partner ecosystem.

Ability to build continuous relationships, promoting to C-level executives across security and IT business units, ensuring customer success and adoption, leading to customer expansion.

As a Security Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for business opportunities for Google Cloud Security (GCS) Solutions within Digital Natives accounts. You will assess opportunities, develop account plans, discuss agreements, and post-sales account management of the assigned accounts.


In this role, you will leverage and partner with the Channel Sales team on lead generation, account planning and new account development, and expanding existing accounts. You will promote the GCS services and solutions line and represent GCS's full suite of solutions and services to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs.

Responsibilities

Construct and execute an effective territory development plan, promote Security products in the territory to new and existing Security customers, meeting or exceeding quarterly goals.

Develop and drive pipeline, managing cycles, from lead generation to customer onboarding.

Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction, act as a trusted advisor to the account.

Partner with Marketing, Customer Engineering, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Customer Success, Channels, Product, and Engineering teams to represent the customer and provide excellent prospect and customer experience.

Represent Google Cloud Security in regional forecasts and team meetings, serve as stakeholder to regional Cloud leads, reporting current, accurate and timely forecasting, and business performance in Salesforce and other tools.
