Cross Google Partner Manager, Global Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience within one or more of the following fields: Partnerships, Business Development, Strategy, Consulting, or Sales.
Experience influencing across different functions and levels in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently, to collaborate with colleagues and complete tasks and projects.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with a cross-functional work environment and navigating large-scale organizations.
Understanding of the industry's issues, an outlook for its growth, and a commitment to advance Google's strategies within Korea.
Ability to quickly become immersed in a variety of industries and partner dynamics to provide strategic input and leadership to help drive cross-product area agreements.
Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to inspire trust and influence outcomes.
Ability to analyze strategic or complex issues and formulate a path for advancement. Effective problem solving, communication, and negotiation skills.

About the job

In this role, you will join a team that is composed of industry (e.g., Media and Entertainment, Telecoms, Gaming/Social, Commerce, Travel, Finance, Auto, etc.) and country partnerships experts that collaborate with multiple global business, partnerships, and product teams to provide streamlined support to Google's key partners. You will drive innovative and transformative ideas, strategic initiatives, and strategy and alignment, bringing the best of Google to solve industry challenges.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

Develop understanding of partner cross-Google activities and opportunities, create and execute cross-Google joint business plans in support of executive sponsor relationship including coordination with partner.
Act as advisor to the cross-product area. Bring stakeholders together to facilitate dialogue and alignment on potential agreement structuring and requirements.
Drive internal visibility and support executive decision-making through operational excellence (e.g., executive summits, briefings, reporting, communications).
Facilitate alignment and communication between relevant Sales, Business Development, and cross-functional teams.
Inform industry narratives, aggregating and delivering partner insight and feedback to industry specialized Partnerships Solutions teams.
