We are looking for an exceptional 2024 Summer Electrical Engineer Graduate Intern who can work with external and internal customers to uncover and solve the difficult problems that lead to innovative and valuable new products and technologies in Power Solutions Business Unit.
What you will do is:
- • Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
- • Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
- • Obtains system-level expertise for MKS RF/DC power delivery systems and products.
- • Trouble shooting, modification, testing and evaluation using RF generators and matches based on the customer’s understanding
- • Understands the characteristics and improvements of the developed product, develops test methods by using engineering backgrounds including development software/firmware functions, and realize them experimentally.
- • Writes a technical report and documents on the evaluation and communicate with customers or internal development engineers.
What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:
- • Enrolled in a Master’s or PhD Degree program in electronics or relevant majors with an expected graduation date between December 2024-May 2025
- • Preferential engineering experiences: Power electronics, Electromagnetic circuits or system design, Digital Signal Processing, Step motor control, and Engineering tool skills like MATLAB, LabVIEW, Mathcad, Python, etc.
- • Good English communication skills are preferred.
