Who you are
In this role, you will be accountable for implementing IKEA¡¯s marketing communication strategy, coordinating and overseeing all online and offline communication initiatives and marketing activities. You will devise and plan all necessary steps, ensuring effective execution, particularly in the realms of website management, social media, and online and offline advertising. Your responsibility includes leading and mentoring the Marketing Communication Team to deliver innovative marketing communication solutions that yield business results, aligning with the brand¡¯s identity and positioning.

• You possess a higher education degree in Marketing or Communication.
• You have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing or communication, with a strong background in content conception, creation, and storytelling. Prior work experience in the retail sector is beneficial.
• You exhibit strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead peers and stakeholders while communicating in an inspiring manner.
• You have experience with media strategy and online marketing, including the execution of communications campaigns across multiple channels (Offline, website, Google, social media campaigns, etc.).
• You enjoy engaging in efficient idea exchanges with various internal and external individuals, gathering relevant information, and building trustworthy relationships.
• You prefer to work independently and in a structured manner, achieving your goals on time, while also taking a holistic view of a global organization and identifying business opportunities accordingly.
• You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Your responsibilities
• Act as a member of the Marketing Management team and contribute proactively to the marketing plan.
• Lead the Marketing Communications Team and drive content to attract and engage customers across all channels.
• Oversee the Marketing Communication strategy, including planning, creation, and coordination of brand and commercial communication content.
• Collaborate with the Communications and Digital teams to ensure a unified voice in the market and maximize impact.
• Manage communication agency relationships to meet Marketing needs and enhance impact. • Understand content performance and relevant metrics in collaboration with Insights.
• Actively collaborate with all key stakeholders to ensure integration, common focus, and maximum impact.
