The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all aspects of repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance related to production and engineering operations at Air Liquide Advanced Materials (ALAM). Included is troubleshooting and repair of equipment associated with all gas manifolds, static and rotating equipment, PLCs, and facility maintenance. This position may be required to be on call duties, subjected to plant’s needs and requirements.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Provide technical expertise for maintenance activities, projects and technical changes related to instrumentation, electrical distribution systems, process control systems
• Manage calibration, inspection and testing of electrical distribution systems to comply with regulatory requirements
• Perform and document maintenance calibrations, installation, configuration and fault diagnosis of control instrumentation and electrical system equipment's,
• knowledge on automated control systems (PLC)
• Maintain technical documentation for equipment.
• Provide timely and effective engineering support related to electrical, instrumentation, including manufacturing and facility equipment's
• Responsible for instrument calibrations in appropriate zone

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:  

• • Journeyman Electrical License or equivalent experience in the Electrical field.

• • 7+ years Industrial Maintenance experience, preferably in batch chemical, heavy or high speed manufacturing industries. 

• • Working knowledge of electrical equipment,  Instrumentation & Controls,  PLC’s, and VFDs.

• • Working knowledge of electrical standards (NEC, NFPA 70E/79, UL, ISO, etc.).

• • Working knowledge of the safe use of a wide variety of hand and power tools, electronic and electric test equipment as related to field and shop work.

• • Able to read and understand technical drawings, equipment specifications, and manuals.

• • Demonstrate basic skills in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC

• • Effective communication skills

• • Ability to work shift, overtime, weekends, holidays and call-ins.

• • Ability to medically pass a respiratory test and physical test in order to wear a full face respirator as required

• • Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders

Preferred Qualifications:

• • State Licensed Electrician

• • HMI Builder
