We are looking for Associate Quality Engineer with the knowledge and experience to utilize and drive  quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement activities within the multi-site Power Solutions Asia (PSA) organization. The successful candidate will mainly function as quality control and quality assurance at development/production stage and collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve team objectives, satisfy customer based on ISO 9001 : 2005 system certified, and drive continuous improvement. The PSA Associate Quality Engineer reports to the PSA Quality Manager.

What you will do is:

• • Inspection at incoming and outgoing process. Issue and trouble shooting of NCR with stakeholders.
• • Set up inspection plan and Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished ass'y products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary.
• • Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed.
• • Support CQE leader communicating with internal customers and/or suppliers, normally involving matters to handle quality issues and the voice of customer on quality related issues and complaints.
• • Support RCA and corrective action setup for Non-conformity issue

What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:

• • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (ex. Electrical/Electronic or Industrial engineering) or other technical and 2 years of related experience in quality engineering and with related experience in the following areas:
• • Supporting new product development and fielded electronic and electro-mechanical equipment, ideally in the semiconductor capital equipment industry or other advanced markets.
• • Working directly with contract manufacturer’s and key suppliers to ensure all quality requirements are met.
• • Utilizing the use of various quality tools and techniques such as quality plans, statistical process control, process flows, FMEA (failure mode and effects analysis), DOE (design of experiments) throughout the organization.

 

The ideal candidate must also:

• • ​Be able to apply critical thinking in problem solving and Knowledge of product reliability engineering a plus.
• • ISO 9001:205 knowledge and enough involvement in CAPA activities is a plus.
• • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with peers and  customers.  Basic level of English is required.
• • Regularly travel locally to key supplier and other PSA sites for meetings
• • Knowledge on RF technology and Standard e.g. ISO 9001:2005, IATF 16949, or CE.
• • Understanding Semi-conductor manufacturing process.
