As a Senior Legal Counsel for Electrification Business Area in Seoul, South Korea, you will be responsible for independently reviewing and redline of sale contracts, procurement contracts, risk assessment of contracts in line with ABB corporate guidelines.

Your responsibilities

• • Providing local legal support in South Korea in connection to Electrification Business
• • Having integrity and the formulation, interpretation and implementation of ABB policies to ensure consistency and compliance applicable local laws;
• • Supporting in improvement or development of legal processes, due diligence and legal productivity, simplicity, and standardization, reflecting the country specific requirements.
• • Supporting ABB Integrity program and support Integrity initiatives in close collaboration with the Corporate Counsel and Regional General Counsel

Your background

• • Legal degree from accredited law school with a demonstrable superior academic record
• • First Legal experience or equivalent in an internationally recognized law firm or multinational company,
• • Strong command of corporation law and practices.
• • Demonstrable computer literacy with specific ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other software such as redlining tools
• • Demonstrable leadership experience, in particular coordinating with cross-functional and cross-country teams in complex transactions
• • Demonstrable fluency in English, including ability to draft and negotiate legal and corporate documents in English and such other language(s)
• • Must have relevant work permit
