Within the division Advanced Technologies of GM&T, the Global Business Unit New Energies is responsible for the design and the production of clean energy solutions, focusing on hydrogen infrastructure (H2 stations for cars, buses or public transportation; testing apparatus) and biogas (biogas purification units). The development of hydrogen and of biomethane as clean energy carriers are identified as promising emerging markets for the Group, with a focus on energy and mobility applications through fuel cell electric vehicles (passenger cars, material handling vehicles, public transportation) and CNG/LNG cars.
With ~ 20 employees and sub-contractors located in Kobe (Japan) and in Seoul (Korea), New Energies design, produce, sell H2 stations and provide related services in Japan and in Korea to external and internal customers, with a specific focus on serving H2 retail initiatives JHyM (JP) and HyNet (KO), of which AL is a shareholder.
Korea is one of the key pioneering countries for the deployment of those technologies and Air Liquide GM&T Korea is currently executing Projects of H2 refueling station (HRS) for passenger cars and buses and plans to further expand for the design and construction of HRS projects. Contract values are typically in the range 1.5 to 6 million EUR per project, requiring lean and agile project execution capabilities.

The development of hydrogen and of biomethane as clean energy carriers are identified as promising emerging markets for the Group, with a focus on energy and mobility applications through fuel cell electric vehicles (passenger cars, buses and material handling vehicles). Korea is one of the key pioneering countries for the deployment of those technologies and Air Liquide Korea is currently starting execution of H2 refueling station (HRS) for passenger cars and plans to expand its project scope to forklifts and the construction of biogas purification plants.
As an engineer of GM&T team, under supervision of Engineering / Reliability manager, he or she will perform the execution of commissiong and mantenance for the relevent technical solutions as well as the project documentations. The person will also support or lead 'After-Service Job' of HRS SOE business (Sales of Equipment to Third Party Customers).

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

1. Support maintenance&commissioning Manager for the specification validation in the development of safe and reliable HRS.

- Communication with Group technical organization overseas and local suppliers for technical support

2. Support maintenance&commissioning Manager for the technical execution of Projects during development/engineering phase:

- participate in the development of pre-commissioning / commissioning procedures, operations manual

3. Inspection installation and leading pre-commissioning and commissioning activities with the support of the maintenance&commissioning manager

- In charge of the Safety during the pre-commissioning and commissioning (JHA, permit to work, co-activity management)

- Inspenction the installation works (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumenation)

- Plan and manages necessary tools, commissioning spares, utilities and consumables

- Prepare the pre-commissioning / commissioning schedule in coordination with installation company

- Validate RTOR at Site (Ready To Operate Review) - Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities (with support of Vendor / installation company when necessary)

- Monitor installation quality and manages punch list until completion to obtain certificate of Acceptance

- Train technicians/operators about Plant maintenance/operation

- Participate to REX (Return on Experience) as part of continuous improvement process

4. Lead maintenance activities and after-sales support (trouble shooting) as per AL Group guideline/policy under supervision of the maintenance&commissioning manager

- Communication with AL Engineering/Maintenance organization overseas

- prepare maintenance technical offer and estimation

- plan and perform maintenance activities safely with support of installation company / Vendors when necessary

- Bachelor degree in engineering such as electrical / mechanical / chemical Engineering

- English: Intermediate

- Good negotiation and communication skill

Preference

- Field experience in Commissioning and Maintenance for Chemical or Oil &Gas industries

- Experience in trouble shootings on the site
