About Tooning!
Tooning is a startup with around 40 young team members(mostly in their 20s and 30s) from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Our goal is to become a top global company in content localization technology, making all kinds of content accessible to more people worldwide. Since 2021, we have collaborated with numerous domestic and international webtoon companies, localizing over 2,000 popular works in 9 languages.
We are continuously striving to enhance the quality and speed of localization tasks by developing our own localization system, AI Losy, used by over 2,000 users.
About Tooning Arabic Team!
Currently, our Arabic team consists of one native Project Manager from Jordan, and an experienced Type Setter from Korea, but we are eager to expand our roster by welcoming an Editor onboard. As a vital member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and cultural nuance of our translated webtoons.
The Work
Editing webtoons translated from English to Standard arabic
(correcting grammar, spelling and improving translation quality)
Communicating with freelancers and providing detailed feedback.
Conducting quality control on finished content to ensure high quality output.

Required Qualifications
Visa status : D10, E7, F2, F4, F5, F6
Please state your visa status on your resume
Native level in both English and Arabic
An Advanced level of Korean is not required (TOPIK 3~4 preferred)
Deep understanding in both Arabic and Korean culture
Translating experience
Open to various webtoon genres (romance, fantasy, BL, +18, etc.)
A responsible and disciplined individual
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in translating subtitles/webtoons/games
Enjoys reading webtoons or web novels
Resided in an Arabic-speaking country for 12 years or more (including elementary, middle, and high school period)
TOEFL, IELTS, or a degree in English
Working Conditions
6 month contract (정규직 전환 가능)
Working Hours
Mon~Fri, 40hrs/wk
Flexible hours
출근 : 7am~10am
Core time(required working hours) : 10am~4pm
5hrs/day is a must, and the rest(15hrs) are flexible
