The Impact You¡¯ll Make

Performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D. Performs set up of processing equipment. Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators. Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products. Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.

What You¡¯ll Do

Performs measurement on metrology tools to collect experiment results including SEM imaging.

Requires sufficient technical familiarity with semiconductor metrology tools and techniques to manage vendors and interact efficiently with vendor field service engineers when need arises to help deliver maximum asset availability

Tool sets include: Ion-beam assisted silicon sample-preparation techniques, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).Other metrology instruments helpful, such as Critical Dimension-SEM (CD-SEM). Experience with Review SEM,

Experience with TEM lamella ion polishing/preparation equipment, i.e, cleaning and recovering delicate high-vacuumequipment preferred (includes maintenance of ion or electron guns)

Who We¡¯re Looking For

  • College graduate with AAS degree or 1+ year of relevant experience,
  • Business level of English communication skill is required
  • Proficiency with scripting in MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in semiconductor industry, Failure Analysis preferred

Experience with TEM lamella preparation preferred.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ¡®On-site Flex¡¯ you¡¯ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ¡®Virtual Flex¡¯ you¡¯ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
