Your key responsibilities
Access strategy & material development
Lead the development of the access strategy work closely with Region/Global Access & Policy counterparts and key internal stakeholders to deliver an access strategy that leads to rapid, broad and sustainable access to Roche¡¯s diagnostics solutions
Lead access material development strategically incorporating diverse stakeholder perspectives such as Policy Makers and Patients to receive positive government feedback faster aligned with commercial strategy
Collaborate with RA, DMS, commercial teams and APAC/ Global Access & Policy counterparts for fit-for-purpose evidence generation and HECON study design for faster access to Roche¡¯s high medical value solutions
Explore innovative access solutions by researching local trends, context of the specific environments, testing solutions, engaging with experts, piloting solutions and managing implementation as required
Ensure funding and reimbursement is secured at a fair value
Develop annual/mid-term/long-term integrated access plan and priorities across the cross functional teams
Continuously identify key hurdles for access initiatives and discover areas requiring policy change and communicate them to the head of policy & access
Support appropriate customer communication by providing information to relevant departments in a timely manner regarding changes in access-related regulations/systems that affect business
Strategic payer/ academia partnership
Develop a strong network of payer government contacts (e.g. MOHW, HIRA, NECA) that can positively influence the outcome of affiliate¡¯s access initiatives
Strengthen evidence based communications to ensure payers/HTA agencies make timely and positive decisions
Proactively collect payer perspectives for access issues of Roche¡¯s future portfolio for fit-for-purpose access strategy development
Engage reimbursement in charge in medical societies to co-create better access environment that can accept Roche¡¯s innovation faster
Who you are
Education & Qualification
University degree in relevant discipline required
Profound knowledge of relevant local HTA & Reimbursement systems and its requirements
Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, esp. IVD, medical device industry
Ability to create materials for payer communication (value dossier, company opinion letter, etc.)
Strategic negotiation skills and strong interpersonal/story-telling skill to interact with diverse stakeholders
High adaptability to rapidly changing environment
Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration mindset
Proactive problem-solving ability
Good command of English in writing and speaking
Experience
At least 7-8 years of related work experience in both HTA and reimbursement with a strong understanding of healthcare industry (IVD industry is preferred)
Experience working with payer government (MOHW, HIRA) and HTA agency (NECA) and other regulatory bodies – a must
Experience in leading HTA & reimbursement process
