Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Plan and execute effective and accurate products allocation to stores to achieve the financial targets (net sales, discount, margin, sellthru and inventory) based on the comprehensive understand of merchandising process of planning, buying, and trading for CS (concept store). Develop and manage strong planning for stock trading throughout each season and ensure stock needs of product groups available for all stores on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Trading
- Manage and execute product allocation, replenishment, and rotation by working closely with team.
- Conduct performance analysis/review in detail with both product-based and store-based viewpoints and share with stakeholders on findings and recommendations for action plans.
- Manage availabilities and capacities in detail regarding product, delivery, stock room and inventory.
- Product lifecycle management with smart pricing/markdown and margin simulation.
- Drive/implement product related marketing/promotional activities.
Planning
- Identify business opportunities based on targets, stock, sellthru, and marketing plans.
- Plan and manage in-season trading process to ensure highest product and size availability in all stores and continuously to find opportunities for optimization.
- Plan demands of inventory and stock coverage to maximize product sellthru and stock trading with regular tracking/forecasting sales and inventory.
- Plan and manage product delivery schedule/execution with stakeholders (SCM, stores, RBO).
- Setup assortment plan by segmentation and key features.
Systems and Processes
- Clear understanding Retail KPI and targets, buying strategies and GTM processes
- Set up regular sell-thru reports and drive in-time actions proposal
- Cooperate with IT team consistently to monitor and update all merchandising related systems (POS, BI, trading tools, etc.)

- All RBO (retail back office) functions (esp. Buying and Retail Sales & Consumer Experience Team)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Product Management or Merchandising experience
- Strong business acumen and analysis skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both internal and external)
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Structured, organised and process oriented
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
- Result oriented. Prioritizing and completing tasks in order of importance
- High execution ability and self-management
- Fluent in English
- Strong sense of Sports & fashion trends
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree and/or commercial training in the area of Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Sales are preferred.
- Merchandising experience 5-6 years (at least 4 years¡¯ allocation and planning experience)
- Management Experience preferred
