Sales Specialist - Motion, Busan

As a Sales Specialist for Motion Business Area in Busan, South Korea, you will be responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets in a profitable way - order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

• Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Divisions.
• Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and aligning to provide a solution
• Performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
• Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques
• Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions)
• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
• Managing administrative procedures in sales processes, and supporting collection and project management activities when needed
• Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager

Your background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime sciences, Electrical or Electronics Engineering major would be preferred
• 0 - 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or Working in Shipyard or Ship Design Engineering
• Knowledge of understanding of marine market trend
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills in Korean and English
• Fluent English level for global communication
