As the Co-worker Experience Manager at IKEA Korea , you will lead the overall country co-worker relations strategy and deliver a great co-worker experience that is consistent and meaningful across the country

As a person you are passionate about people and dedicated to contributing to great co-worker¡¯s experience using different leadership styles (such as interdependent, indirect, situational, etc.). You act as an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values and keep yourself up-to-date with latest HR trends, developments and innovations that can help IKEA Korea to gain insights to better operate as an organization in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment.

In this role your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for ensuring a consistent high quality co-worker experience for all co-workers in the country
• Lead and implement the global Co-worker Experience concept, frameworks, approach and process in order to ensure successful implementation in the country
• Lead the development of country HR policies and procedures in line with employment law compliance and secure implementation and follow up (e.g. Code of Conduct, co-worker relations principles)
• Establish and foster an ongoing open dialogue with co-workers, their associations and other organisations, contributing to successful negotiations with worker¡¯s council/labour union.
• Lead and develop the problem resolution process on country level, securing consistent execution and follow-up, and secure analysis of root causes.
• Protect IKEA as an employer from potential threats by implementing and following a common way of managing labour issues on country level.
• Contributes to delivering on the People strategy with responsibility for co-worker relationship including corporate culture and values, Equality Diversity & Inclusion, & People Planning
• Establishes a high standard of excellence within the function - striving for delivery of a great co-worker experience through a consistent and meaningful experience for the many co-workers.
Why we will love you
To be considered for this role you must fulfil the following requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of Human Resources experience
• Proven record of developing people and organizations
• Experience from a global matrix organization and/or participating in global projects
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly both in Korean and English
• Knowledge of how to plan, attract, grow, deploy, reward, and support co-workers & leaders and their careers in IKEA
• Knowledge of legislation regarding resolving disputes and how to create, implement and follow up on rules and practices that ensure accountability, compliance, fairness and transparency
• Knowledge about the rights and obligations of workers and employers, and how to mediate the relationship between workers, employing entities, trade unions and the government.
• Knowledge of equality, diversity & inclusion policies, and standards in the entire value chain, and making it a competitive advantage that contributes to positive change in society
• Knowledge of analyzing and benchmarking programs, strategies, and initiatives for rewarding and benefitting co-workers

In this role you will report to the Country P&C Manager and the role is located in Seoul, South Korea.
