Project Specialist - Motion, Drive

Join us as a Project Specialist for the Motion Business area in Seoul,South Korea where you will be leading the execution of small projects with low complexity and ensures that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, contract specifications, quality standards, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets. Includes Project Managers assigned to small projects in the service business.

Your responsibilities

• Leading the project team allocated to the project.Motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones
• Ensuring compliance with standard ABB internal directives and procedures, relevant cybersecurity regulations,standards, and contractual requirements
• Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies
• Monitoring and controling project progress effectively and efficient resource utilization
• Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements
• Building and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders
• Ensures the project follows and complies with company HSE policies
• Creates project HSE plans and ensures that common HSE policies and reporting are implemented across the project with all stakeholders, including collaboration/consortium partners and sub-suppliers

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field
• 5 years of experience in Drives (Inverter), working as project manager with Drives(Inverter)
• Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors
• Knowledge of Drives (Inverter)
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Proficiency in Korean and English
