Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Responsible for executing KOREA short and mid-term objectives for Originals APP / A&G, responsible for delivering across all KPIs
- Collaborate with global counterparts to identify opportunities across KOREA, while implementing global strategies in a locally relevant way, considering consumer needs and distribution channels
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the strategy for the business from brief through range launch for assigned category
- Define the category range by country cluster and by channels within guidelines
- Define KOREA country cluster & channels allocation
- Perform Category analysis including business tracking, sell-thru, forecasting, etc¡¦
- Act as KOREA category interface between Global, looking after business opportunities, commercial input process, SMU¡¯s, performance results, market trends & insights
- Understands and build KOREA market/retailer network to maintain trend and product awareness
- Support Brand Communication partners to implement activation plans to drive authentic stories
- Support major product launches and presentations providing necessary sales support to ensure an effective sell-in process
- Provide a suitable framework for the performance management of the team, coaching and developing junior team members to meet requirements of their role
- Responsible for sample ordering and management for categories in charge
- Leverage GTM analysis & competitors/market information to set price bands
- Monitor systems and file management for categories in charge: Master Range File, HUB, DMT & RMA

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exposure to other marketing disciplines preferable, e.g. merchandising, brand comm or sales
- Result-oriented; Strong numerical / analytical skills;
- Willing and able to travel on a regular basis.
- Must have the ability to influence others within organization
- Effective presentations to large audiences
- Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to translate and articulate data results into clear business actions.
- Fluent communication skills in both English and Korean preferred
- Strong presentation/communication, negotiation and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders within a global matrix organization.
- Strong cross-functional and stakeholder management experience across commercial functions (e.g. marketing, sales, etc.) and support functions (finance preferred), as well as different organizational levels (Global, Market, etc.)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Business/Marketing Management preferred.
- 4-6 years of merchansiging experience with a recognized top tier brand
- Sporting goods industry experience required
- Willingness to travel
